  • Luxembourg invests €50 million in the restoration of Kryvyi Rih district

    The Duchy of Luxembourg has decided to allocate significant financial resources to restore communities in Kryvyi Rih district. The head of Kryvyi Rih District State Administration, Yevhen Sytnychenko, announced this, emphasizing the importance of this step for the local population.

    "Thanks to the support of the Duchy of Luxembourg, we have the opportunity to implement large-scale projects to restore communities in Kryvyi Rih district. A total of 50 million euros have been allocated for these purposes," he said.

    It is noted that during the presentation of the projects, the Kryvyi Rih district administration presented various initiatives in the areas of education, support for IDPs, as well as the construction and reconstruction of bomb shelters in educational institutions.

    The heads of all 15 communities in Kryvyi Rih district, including the cities of Kryvyi Rih, Apostolove, and Zelenodolsk, were given the opportunity to learn about the support programs provided by the Luxembourg government.

    It is planned that foreign investment will also help in the purchase of digital equipment for local schools - computers and tablets. It is planned to meet the needs of 1,500 teachers and 12,000 students for the relevant equipment.

    In addition, important areas of assistance from Luxembourg will include support for the agricultural sector, road repairs, and environmental restoration. Each community will have the opportunity to present its needs and priorities to the partners.
