Energy Support Fund of Ukraine: Results of two years of work

Over the past two years, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine has been actively working to attract funding from international partners. During this period, it managed to raise more than EUR 410 million, of which more than EUR 393 million has already been transferred to the Fund's account.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, these funds have been successfully used to finance the needs of Ukrainian energy companies. This includes the purchase of various equipment and materials necessary for the efficient operation of the energy sector, including generators, transformers, switches, spare parts, technical equipment, special equipment, fuel, and physical protection.

The greatest emphasis was placed on meeting the urgent needs of energy companies in the frontline regions of Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Odesa. These measures are crucial to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the energy infrastructure in the context of the military conflict and the escalating situation in the east of the country.

Financial support from international partners is an important incentive for the development of Ukraine's energy sector and ensuring its stability in the face of geopolitical and economic challenges. The results of the Fund's work demonstrate the effectiveness of efforts in solving important energy sector problems.

Raising funds from international donors is an important part of Ukraine's strategy to ensure energy security and sustainability. Continued operation of the Fund will help strengthen the country's energy infrastructure and ensure that it meets modern requirements.
