Kiev will not open the beach season in 2024: government decision

Due to the savings of the military, in Kiev there are no plans to reopen the beach season, and the local government recommends avoiding the removal of beaches from the cessation of safety. This is reported by the press service of the Kiev Municipal Sovereign Administration.

The decision to cancel the beach season was adopted at a meeting of the Standing Committee on Technogenic-Ecological Safety and Overlying Situations. At the same time, the third river has already been built, since a little bit of power prevents the citizens from going to the beaches through potential threats to security.

“Mass crowding of people on the beaches can complicate access to shelters and villages in the hour of renewed anxiety,” explains the Kiev Metropolitan Administration.

No less, the guards will carry out the necessary seasonal work to ensure order and sanitation in the beach areas. This includes maintenance of engineering lines, cleaning and sanitary treatment of the territory, as well as mosquito control.

It is important to note that the end of the beach season does not mean the protection of coastal zones. Residents are still allowed to use coastal areas for walks and maintenance, subject to regulations and boundaries.
